Snow Day Danger

I'm not sure which is more dangerous at this point.

The parents of 16,500 children transporting their kids to school tomorrow through snow and ice ....

Or the parents of 16,500 children being home with their kids for YET ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!!

I've lost count, we're somewhere near 17 or 18 snow days by now it seems.

I heard that they're giving out GEDs instead of diplomas this year if graduation isn't snowed out in May.

We just got the call from a very weary sounding communications director that we're on a two hour delay tomorrow and they'll re-evaluate the situation in the morning.

Makes no difference to me.  I'm dropping my kids off at the high school either way.   If the snow and ice are too dangerous to drive through they can walk.

See ya later Ace, Cicero and Kale!

I'll be home all by myself watching re-runs of Downton Abbey because obviously it will be too dangerous for me to drive into work.

***********
Wednesday morning addition:  It's a real snow day at this point!  I didn't make them walk to school, but I did make them shovel the driveway, the front and back walk, and the deck.
