Appliances? The End -- I hope

I hope this is the last of the appliance stories.

Forever.

As it turns out the new dishwasher did work.

But we didn't learn that until the appliance guy installing the new new dishwasher discovered that the valve for the hot water to the dishwasher was completely full of ... and I quote .... "crud."

He was an installer.

Not a plumber.

He couldn't replace the valve.

The husband replaced the valve for a whopping total cost of $8.08.

Which is what I suspect the whole dishwasher replacement project should have cost us had we only known about the "crud" valve.

The good news?

The new new dishwasher  actually gets dishes clean and does not sound like a small aircraft taking off in the kitchen while it's running.

I think I may have paid $441.92 more than I needed to for this convenience.
