I canceled the order for the "we don't deliver on your schedule" dishwasher and bought the same dishwasher from another store that delivered it and installed it two days later. And matched the price of the first store I bought it at!
The transaction took a total of 12 minutes.
Drama free!
Installation happened on the day and at the time it was scheduled for!
Pros of the the new dishwasher:
It came on time.
It runs very quietly
Cons of the new dishwasher:
It doesn't actually clean the dishes.
NOT tough baked on cheese or anything like that.
Milk rings on glasses.
Argh.
