It happened - This is Aunt Fist to Chest Here (see A Word about Wordless Mondays) and I have fantastic news to report.
The little redhead in our Monday photos recently gave everyone at BeachAccess31 a syllable (except me of course - still Aunt Fist to Chest).
UNTIL.... yesterday when he ran around the house yelling "Re, Re, Reeee!" My sister finally asked him who he wanted and he combined the fist to chest sign with "Re" - he gave me a syllable! It is adorable and my actual name actually includes those two letters so I will take it.
It will be much easier for him at our Christmas party now too. This year I turned around and saw him pounding on his chest (so basically yelling for me). Now I can just listen for the sound of RE :)
