Looking for Band Pants Venture Capital.

If you have children between the ages of 0 and 18 you know how quickly they can outgrow a perfectly good pair of barely used dress pants.

If you don't have children those ages don't bother reading the rest.

I've got two charming and fast growing sons.

Both the same age.

Both in the same concert band.

Both in need of black dress pants and shoes for every concert.

Pants that are not too short.

I've learned from experience that it's useless to buy too far ahead.  The only sure way of knowing the dress pants are going to fit, is to buy them approximately ten minutes before the concert begins.

Which brings me to my most recent million dollar idea....

The Traveling Trouser Trade-in Tent

So, here's the basic idea.  (and I should mention my friend Mrs. Coach is in on this.)  We set up a tent -- similar to one that we've seen set up at baseball games -- and have one table accepting "no-longer-fits" while a second table distributes "will-fit-for-this-concert."  Sizes will be clearly marked in bright orange easy to see stickers for quick processing from one table to the other.

A donation jar will be prominently displayed with a suggested donation of $1,000,000.   (It's totally worth it avoiding the hassle of having to run to Kohl's at 5:30 on a Friday night.)

We may have the kiosk available again at the end of the concert for trade ins that have been outgrown during the concert.  It happens!

The shoe portion of the plan is still in process.

Thanks for your support!

    1. Thank you! I have two pairs of 12 slims in my laundry room right now. Call me -- or e-mail me if you want them.
