We've become "Colin-izers"

Our kids have two friends name Colin who spend a lot of time at our house.

[Colin is the #378 most common male first name
0.031% of males in the US are named COLIN.
Around 37975 US males are named COLIN!

We tend to refer to them as Colin, and "our" Colin, only because we've known "our" Colin a lot longer, not because we like one more than the other.

[We tend to give people self serving nicknames at our house.  "car pool" John, "bus stop" Susan, "coffee shop" Steven....]

There are many times when one or both Colins eat dinner with us or we look out in the back yard and there is a team of Colins playing against a team of Wanda Louise family kids in badminton.

Here's the weird thing.

Colin broke his right wrist a few weeks ago.  Ouch.  Painful.  But cool cast colors.

Yesterday "our" Colin broke his right arm.  Ouch.  I haven't seen the cast yet, but judging from the braces colors, I suspect the cast is going to be terrific.

Neither were badminton related injuries, and neither happened at our house.

But kind of spooky.

Just a warning.

If your name is Colin and you're planning to eat with us or play badminton in the back yard please bring your own wrist brace.
