I specifically said not to call me this evening.
Guess who just called?
The school district!
Why?
To tell us that there is yet another snow day tomorrow!
Obviously the superintendent is not a Downton Abbey fan.
Nor one of our 1700+ blog readers!
Or a fan of sane parents who just want a moment's peace.
FIVE SNOW DAYS! -- SO FAR!
It's like my kids are part time high school students.
Ace may get a GED in May instead of a diploma at this point.
(In all seriousness I really am grateful that the district has made smart choices about closing when the weather is awful/dangerous!)
(Really!)
(Hope the husband's office makes a wise decision tomorrow too.)
(I may stay in my pajamas all day tomorrow and make the kids walk the dog in -3 weather!)
(And actually my kids are not annoying when they're home, but after 17 days of it they're bored!)
Stay warm and safe everyone.
I'm packing it in for the night. Going to watch the Crawleys tomorrow at a decent hour.
