Do you remember back in March when we were trying to plan a dinner with some friends at a Lebanese restaurant?
It finally happened.
And it was fun.
And delicious.
But little did we know that we were eating with one extremely adventurous eater.
The waitress came to our table to tell us about the evening specials. I can't even remember all of them because my brain stopped functioning right after she mentioned the "Grilled Goat Spleen" appetizer.
WHICH ONE PERSON AT OUR TABLE ORDERED!!
AND ATE!
AND OFFERED TO SHARE WITH US!
Even the waitress looked a little surprised when he said "I think I'll have the Goat Spleen." I guess they don't get a lot of westerners who order that one.
And in case you're interested he ordered Quail for dinner.
Needless to say I was very careful when a few weeks later I was at a pot luck with that same couple.
