Excuse the font size. I just got back from the eye doctor and my eyes are still a bit blurry.
So, while I was there and having the usual exchange with the assistant...
one or two?
two or three?
one or three?
we had an interesting glitch for a moment. I did fine with my left eye (after telling her I didn't think my distance vision changed that much). When she started with my right eye, however, all I saw were blobs. At one point I couldn't even tell how many of them there were.
YIKES!
She paused for a moment, looked at the doctor's note from two years ago, and said:
"Oh, that must be a 4 not a 9. Grrr, doctor handwriting."
I have no idea what that means, but when we started up again I was able to tell that at least I was dealing with letters and not numbers and I could identify most of them.
Sighs of relief all around.
