Jesus IS the answer to everything

I wish this were my story, but it's not.  A friend told it to me the other day and I snort with laughter a little every time I think about it. 

The conversation goes as follows:

Kid:  Mom, did my Latin teacher call you this week?

Mom:  No, why would your Latin teacher call me?

Kid:  Well, I didn't know one of the answers on the vocabulary test so I just wrote "Jesus."

Mom:  Why would you do that?

Kid:  Well, Jesus is the answer to everything mom.

Mom:  You're right about that, but you may want to study more for Latin.

Kid:  Mom, did my Algebra 2 teacher call you this week?

Mom:  Jesus again?

Kid:  Yup!
