To add to the "cheating" that's going on at the Y in the mornings...
The Y is doing a logging challenge right now. For every five miles you log, on the bike, treadmill, elliptical, and even in the pool, the Y will donate one can of food to the local food bank.
Together my friend and I usually log about five mile per morning. It makes us feel virtuous.
One day recently we decided we needed a break -- like all professional athletes do -- to meet at the coffee shop instead of the Y.
The confusion comes in the food pantry challenge. Do you think we should drop off a can of vegetables on our way to the coffee shop, or exercise double one day next week?
