Just buy a hairbrush already!

I usually don't comment on television that is not Downton Abby as you know.

But I was watching the first few minutes of the Oscars and this happened.

I didn't even see any of the movies this year, but I do listen to the radio a lot and I know that Patricia Arquette is/was (by the time this posts you all will know if she won) nominated for some big award.

I don't care if she won or lost.  I don't even know if I've ever seen her in a movie.  She may be be a terrific actress deserving of of lots of awards. 

But if I were potentially getting a big award I might have brushed my hair before I left the house.

I just don't understand.  Don't they make a lot of money?  Surely someone could have stopped the limo and picked up a $3.99 hairbrush at CVS.
