Who's the adult here

At BA31 we have some pretty specific rules about who can be in the ocean and when.  And as you know we're all about rubrics and quantifying data, so we've conveniently divide the clan up into three categories.

Adults

Grown Ups

Kids

The "in the water rule" says anyone who falls in the "kid" category can be on the sand with the permission of a "grown up."  But cannot be in the water unless there is a "grown up" or an "adult" on the sand as well.

"Grown ups" must behave maturely while there are "kids" and "adults" around but if there are only "kids" around and the "adults" are no where to be seen "grown ups" must fill the role of "adults".   If there are no "kids" or "adults" around all bets are off!

We have two exceptions in the "grown up" category, but lest we embarrass them here at BA31, we'll just categorize them as "grown ups" anyway.  The "kids" know who we mean.  (Don't pretend you don't know who you are fake "grown ups!")

And one of the "kids" may be more mature than any "grown up" or "adult" on all of BA31, but he's only 3 so it would just be weird to call him a "grown up" at this point.

Any questions?
