Expect limited posting for the next week or two as we get everyone ready for the start of school.
I'll try to pop a few pictures in now and then, but time is limited right now.
People keep asking us if we're nervous about sending Ace off to THE University this fall.
Of course we are. We're parents!
For the love of normalcy!
We'll miss her like crazy.
But we're also absolutely confident in her decision making abilities and skills. She's ready. We've spent 17 years preparing her for launch.
She'll stumble no doubt, and she'll get up again and learn something from it.
The dynamics in our house will surely change, but the empty spot at our dinner table is a full spot at some other dining facility where this kid is having an impact on other people's lives and learning as much or more from them.
We'll miss you ace.
Boys -- please talk to us at the dinner table. I don't think we can take a whole school year of monosyllabic discussion!
